Who knew that four days could be so life changing? Who knew that in four days you could become a family with 11 people you have never met before? Who knew that 100 inside jokes could develop in a week? Who knew that three little kids could help you figure out what God is calling you to do with your life? There is only one answer: God knew. And that's why You made sure that I had the chance to attend World Changers 2011. I just want to thank You so much for allowing me to go, finding that extra spot for me. It was such an eye-opening experience to see how others live in such devastating areas, but still have such a strong faith and trust You with everything. Thank You, God, for letting me meet AJ, Rachel, Alex, Arthur, Daisy, and Edith. AJ showed me how difficult it is in other areas to continue doing the right thing. Sure, we have temptations in Myrtle Beach, everywhere does, but he showed me how lucky I am to be surrounded by an amazing group of friends I can rely on and would never judge me for being different. Rachel, Alex, and Arthur showed me how eager kids are to learn about God and how open they are to loving others. I really wish that everyone could have the eagerness to learn and loving nature as children do. Everyone should be excited every time they have the chance to hear about You and Your love for us. They also helped me realize that You are calling me to work with kids in my future and continue to plant seeds within them. It is clear that I have a connection with them and I love being around them, so now I just need to find a way to make it about You. Daisy taught me that when we put our trust in You that everything will be okay. Edith showed me that we really did make a difference in their neighborhood. She let us know that we were shining Your light and doing Your works. She made me feel amazing when I realized that our whole group had an impact on the community, not because WE wanted to, but because we did it for YOU! I'm so thankful that You brought them into my life. Not only did those in the community influence me, but You blessed me with the greatest crew ever. No, the greatest FAMILY ever. I have never had such a strong bond with group of people before in my life. I know it was because we have one thing in common: because we put You first. People who truly know and love You are so eager to love others and meet new friends. I just wish everyone could see that. I'm sure more people would be willing to turn to You if they could see the love of Your people. Please help us all to love EVERYONE, no matter if they have hurt us, gossiped about us, or brought us down. It would really make a difference in the world. So thank You for giving me this opportunity, and please help me to remain on this high and continue living every moment for You.
