Just thought I'd throw out some quotes from Meet at the Beach this morning.
If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. If we claim we have no sinned, we make him out to be a liar, and his word not in us.
1 John 8-10
"Going to church doesn't make you a Christian any more than living in a garage makes you a car or going to McDonald's makes you a cheeseburger."
"Repentance isn't saying 'I'm sorry', it's saying 'I'm through'."
"Christianity looks foolish to nonbelievers. It's supposed to because we live for something better."
"Invest in things that are eternal. God says the only three things that are eternal are souls, Himself, and His word."
"Saying, 'Oh, I can do that because I'm already forgiven' makes Christians look like hypocrites. YOU are the ones who have to go out there and change that!"
And for kicks thanks to Reed:
"So they just 'forgot' that you aren't supposed to crash planes into building." Hahahahahaha.
